There’s a moment when a youth league ends, and for too many young players, so does football.
We’re here to change that.
The Under-23 Aldershot & District Football League is a brand new opportunity for players aged 16 to 23, with a specific focus on 17 to 20 year olds – those in between youth football and adult leagues.
Each season
players across Hampshire drop out of football between the ages of 17 and 19.
Why? Because their teams fold, they move away, or they simply don’t know where to go next.
We’ve listened. We’ve crunched the numbers. And now, there is a league designed to keep young players in the game.
With strong ties to the North East Hants Youth League, the ADFL is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap from youth football to the adult game—helping players transition confidently and continue their football journey.
