Wildcats is the place to be for girls aged 5 – 11. Run by FA-qualified coaches and friendly volunteers, sessions are non-competitive and perfect for beginners or girls who want to play with others their own age. Best of all, it’s all about having fun and making great new friends.
Squad Girls’ Football offers fun, non-competitive sessions for all abilities, for girls aged 11 – 16.

Female Referee Development Programme
The Female Referee Development Programme aims to provide much-needed varying levels of support for both new and existing female referees across Hampshire.
Upskilling our female workforce across the grassroots game is our ultimate aim.
Mixed Referee Courses.
The FA Referee Course is designed to equip new referees with the key skills and knowledge they will need to be able to referee grassroots football matches safely and effectively. It is for people aged 14 and over who want to referee mini soccer, 9 v 9 and/or 11 v 11 football.
Mentoring opportunities
As well as encouraging new female referees to start their development, the Female Referee Development Programme will also give the opportunity for existing referees to get access to:
- Online and face-to-face CPD events
- Female Referee Community
- Female Referee Mentor for Individual Development Plan and Observations

Hampshire FA internships are non-paid placements available to university students with the option of a sandwich year.
We recruit for various roles including media, marketing, football development, football events and academy coaching.
The next recruitment window will open in January 2027, for a September start.

Help deliver the Hampshire School Girls Finals at Stoneham Lane Football Complex, across two tournament days (Years 5-6 & Years 7-8).
